Learn the rules of Word Recall
Make Word Recall your next activity in the game library. Identify new and previously seen words before losing three lives. Keep the game area visible while you use its controls. Check the rule that explains your first action. Check the relevant rule before repeating a move.

A small practice goal
After a move, check what changed. Decide which rule explains the new state before acting again. Notice the feedback after each input.
What the game asks you to do
Identify new and previously seen words before losing three lives. An attractive position is not enough unless the goal is met. Notice how the game responds to your input.
Step by step
- Read each displayed word.
- Choose New word or Seen before.
- Remember words from this round only.
- Three mistakes end the round.
Keyboard and screen controls
Click or tap one of the two answer buttons. On a smaller screen, keep the active part of the board within view. Use one clear input at a time.
Work through an example
PLANT seen earlier in the same round requires Seen before. Apply the same reasoning to the position in your own round. Take a moment to compare.
An important reminder
A word from an earlier round does not count as seen now. Take a moment to reassess the position before continuing. Take enough time to read a new position. If a game has a timer, learn its controls first rather than searching for them during the round.
